Please dont take the advice below about giving the B some volume, it is marked pianissimo and is beautiful as it is. you sing this very well but it is far too fast...the phrasing is actually easier slowly and it is a song of lonliness and reflection...it is a piece of dedication...sure its open to interpretation but there must be a reason why your loved one is not there...has he died or is he just a dream...although your voice is lovely, we dont see or hear the meaning of the text. keep it up!

They felt some kind of happiness when less sorrow was near. Peaceful sound means mourn. In slavic world, happiness was written in dance tones. This is not dance. Perhaps you mean happiness of tears? Then I think you are right.

I can figure you do not know sadness, or perhaps you do not know happiness. That was the romantic confusion. But we have the same problem today. To be alone means sadness, mourn. To be with the Lord should be happiness, but men think in God when the feel sorrow. Alone in Nature is a kind of sadness. To be happy, you need not a dream, but a real object. Any way, the music was written dealing with minor tones since the end of the first apodosis. Slavic style.
