Third version of double 8 metal ring puzzle

I've demonstrated the 2 ways of playing, concerning the third version double-8-metal puzzle. I've tried my best to show the whole process as 'slow motion' as I could do. In order to make the viewer get the process, I tried to demonstrate it in two different angle of showing the movement.
For the serious mechanical puzzle solvers, I would recommend them use the playlist to watch all videos of the metal ring puzzle series. And compare them in terms of their structures and ways of playing—disentanglement and re-entanglement.

What do you mean "looks identical to"?

If you mean the all the metal puzzle are identical, then you're right.

But for the arrangement of the two components of the metal puzzle, I think they are of similar type.

The two arrangements are by no means identical.
