  • Queen Bee- " Alright...enouph jokes about vagina diseases U tubers. Have of you humans really do have sexually transmitted diseases. We have vero mites. We had to exit the hive so it could air it out. And the guy with the camera ? You were just a little to close for comfort. Do we come to your house and film you ? I think not Buzzzzoff "

  • @irishbreakfast If that is so then you are doing them a favour. I praise you. You are right we humans are expanding into nature more and more. Hollow trees are rare even here in Slovenia where 60% of country is woodland. Sadly most trees are chopped for firewood and carpentery before they become hollow.

Good luck with beekeeping ; )

  • @Voodoozeko yeah well here on long island, the hollow trees gave way to parking lots, seinior housing, shopping malls, and suburban neighborhoods.so in my mind i would want to create new colonies,in my own property, not JUST for a jar or two of yearly honey, but because honeybees keep our crops productive thus keeping us alive and the rest of whats left of nature alive.wax and honey are jst conveinent by-products of the main theme.and if you have too mch bees, sell them to others who will keep them.

  • @irishbreakfast I understand what you whant to say. But my personal experience is that one bee family can give you just barely for one small family's consumption. Of course it depends how much do you use honey. In my family we use alot of honey and one bee hive just isnt enough for whole year. Bees in tree trunks like on this video are rare these days manly becouse of varroa. I myself would leave them alone.

  • @Voodoozeko it wa san expression. just make a hive box, captre the swarm, locate the queen, set them up in the new hive box with the queen, THEN cut up that honeycomb, and jar it up!! mmmmm mmmm! remember, nothing tastes better than FREE! and you could have it every season!!! think profit, think free food, think helping nature thrive! you know bees are almost endangered now, theres been a drastic decline due to or carelessness.in the past few decades! they go,our crops,go,WE go! its that simple!

  • @irishbreakfast Dude you cant harvest honey by drilling a whole. It is not maple tree they are bees. Unless you have bees in beehive you cant take their honey other way than by destroying their nest but that would be realy evil to do.

  • i betcha theres 200 puonds of honey in that old hollow tree!! drill a hole and harvest your honey!!!!! lol!!!!ya know how many 4buck 8oz bottles of honey you could have there??i think its worth exploring.

  • @IchiJewSan Actually, if you catch an actual swarm, the bees are rarely aggressive, if ever. They don't have a hive to protect, they just need to keep the queen out of sight.

  • @jrood369 hahahaha!

  • I hate bees they swarm the fuck around and scare the shit out of you. Then when you see a colony and realize how close you are. Your fucked.
