I Am Change

I Am Change is a Music Video project that was part of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hamilton Creation Nation project. The Youth were instructed to come up with a project to implement in their communities that would serve as a starting point for Youth mentoring other youth in creating projects that could become a way to express themselves and create dialog. I was asked to be apart of the project from The Hamilton Conservatory of the Arts, Queen Cee, Mare Catchpole, and I then worked with Cameron Gonzales
Ilisa Merz,Shawn Matten,Kionte Collins,Jacqueline Cvetas,Robin Robin,Taylor Moore,Blaze Forgie,Quin Ambo, and Tyrell Collins-Reid. To write the song, record the track, brainstorm the video concept and treatment. The beat was created by Brett Klassen, and was recorded at 187 Studio in Hamilton by Scott Peacock. The youth had their vision and we went ahead in creating the visuals to compliment their story. For some it was their first time in the studio, in front of the camera, and working on an artistic project. This is the culmination of an incredible 10 week program that has Blessed so many and has been an inspirational and heart warming journey. Now it's time to spread the word and Be the Change we want to SEE!

Everyday I check to see how the kids are doing with their messages I Am Change and every day there a 100 more views...Lord I pray the message I Am Change receives the support it needs to not only bring change but hope...Maybe the youth can't change the world right now but with all the people in the world I truly believe that 1 million views is not impossible and that there are people who want to see change and love this message and video...Nothing is impossible for you Lord....Amen
