Me and Kath spent 4 days in Tampere (well 3 actually because we had to stay the 1st night in Helsinki). The Tampereen Joulutori was on at the time and I think it means Christmas Market. The temperature was minus 17 when we got there but one day it shot up to minus 8!

This song is available in Finnish as well. It is called "Lunta saa tuiskuttaa". Best version is by Arja Koriseva on the CD "Joulu joka päivä" (Christmas Every Day). I have been to Tampere several times, but never when snow was on the ground. Looks like you had a really good time!
