As a pandeist, and so neither an atheist nor a theist, I'd have to say that devil worshipers are just making the logical choice within the frame of a system in which there is a devil -- if the devil is the enemy of "God" and yet is allowed to exist and work against that God, it follows that the devil is at least as powerful as that God no matter what that God insists on the matter.... otherwise, the devil is just that God's creation doing as that God intends it to do....

i understand...the point i was trying to make was that in these circles that most of the Christians/evolutionists are in, we rarely speak about devil worshipers...and for that matter they rarely enter our arguments...i just wanted to see what the atheists thought about this.

From what I understand (and I have read LaVey's Satanic Bible) most Satanists are simply atheists with a mystic or theatrical leaning. They don't really view Satan as a person, merely a force within the human mind. The whole pomp and circumstance of Satanic ritual is just a way to mock Christianity.

But like anything else, there are different groups who consider themselves Satanists who don't agree on what being a Satanist is.

i find it interesting that so far the devils part in the bible is next to nothing...im on Luke now....Satan's mostly a no show.

We dont talk about devil worshipers because I really doubt any people do worship satan, other than just to "appear cool".

My answer to the question would have to depend on which version of "God" and "The Devil" we're talking about, since there are so many different interpretations of their natures and motives. There are some versions of the story (and not just out on the fringes, either) in which I would be inclined to call Satan the more upstanding and honorable of the two.

Whether either of them is worthy of my "worship" remains to be seen, but I have to know the full story before passing judgment.

Yep,I have a small black light also,it works really well for finding arrows that I sometimes lose during the day while target practiceing.

The laser may work on saphires,I havnt bought one of them for my collection yet.
