Age of Empires 1 Gameplay

This is my first video with using fraps or an other kind of computer game recording device! I know it's not good. I'm a noob at the game but it's still fun to play. If I make another video like this, I think it will be 1 vs. 1. You may criticize me so I can make the videos better, but please keep it PG. And don't worry,the quality and sound gets a little better later in the video. Also, the quality is slightly bad because I only have the free version of fraps. Maybe some day I'll get the fully licensed version of fraps. So enjoy and keep the comments appropriate. This is also a map I created, so advice for making maps better would be accepted.

I havnt played this in years. I think I have the cd for it lying somewhere, do you think it will run on windows 7 pro?

@luckyStrike89ru Oh definitely. It should work. It works on my Windows 7 Ultimate. I forget exactly, but I believe I was playing it on Windows 7 when I made the video. The only reason why it looks bad in this video is because I used the free version of Fraps.

would this game run great with LAN play on a old pentium2 system with 64MB of ram?

@MithrasNL I don't know too much about computers but I don't see why not. AOE only needs 16 mb of RAM. I've never tried playing on LAN so I don't really know how that will work. I guess as long as both computers have a decent internet connection then you should be alright.

@ChefAthistSucks it does run on windows 7. Before installing right click on the run file go to properties and go to compatibility and click on w/e it run good for you.
