obviously if you drive the prius at top speed it will use more fuel.. it's designed to be driven at 20-50 mph, it uses electrical energy at low speeds

so true... I see Prius drivers pushing their cars off the green light so often.... and I don't get it .... why did they buy a Prius? They're supposed to willingly be the slowest off the line ! As for me, I enjoy hearing and feeling my turbo, and I assume the gas prices associated with it, but if I feel economical, I keep it down, and my 1.8T is just a 1.8 ! simple, yet many folks don't understand.. or they get a hybrid for image.. as an entjusiast I'd never get a hybrid but I admire the objectiv
