Damn, so the Ferrari 599, flat out, gets 1.7 MPG. That's kind of staggering.

problem with the BMW vs Prius is that the BMW is in the slipstream which means it will use less fuel even if it was a Prius vs a Prius

What I was pointing out that you said that agreed with Jeremy was. The Prius was driven in an aggressive way and was not fuel efficient while the M3 was driven in an non-aggressive way and was more fuel efficient. It just showed that no matter what type of car you have it can be either fuel efficient or not depending on your driving style and how you drive it. That was Jeremy's point as well it was part of your point.

What ? Hahaha ! That's strange ! I've noticed that a car like the M3 has no problem at all moving its driver like any other normal car ,without much work ,because the hp and the torque of the engine allow that . But ,with just 76 bhp from the internal combustion engine ,and the weight of the empty batteries and of the electric motor to consider ,the Prius has a hell of a lot work to go quickly ...

Seems that you missed the point yet you seem to be saying exactly what he is trying to show and describe.

The Prius-M3 bit is not true ,because Jeremy said ''The Prius will be driven as fast as possible'' . The Prius has just 76 bhp plus the electric motor ,the energy of which only lasts a couple of miles . From then on ,the internal combustion engine starts to work as hard as possible to move the Prius . The BMW M3 ,on the other hand ,has two modes ,''Normal'' and 'M Mode'' .Jeremy wasn't making the engine scream ,he did it in ''Normal'' mode ,that is .That's why he didn't consume that much fuel !
