Honestly, the best reason, for me at least, to own the PC version was just due to the fact that it would allow me to use my Sega Saturn controller via a USB adapter. That is the *Best* controller ever made, and the movements come off smooth as butter, making the gameplay infinitely better. Again, all in my opinion...some get along well enough on the 360 or PS3 controller...
I can't stand it at all, even the Japanese version wears me out. On the PC version you can disable it, and replace it with whatever music you'd like, in the menu. You can also *completely* kill the announcer down to a point where all he says is "Fight!".
I think this is the second or third fighting game that surprised me with a song from a Japanese boy band. I didn't mind it being in the intro, but it being in the main menu was a bit much.
