Being from the area I've had a similar experience,But upon further review it turned out to be a turtle,A really big turtle

Folks I promise you ... having spent summers on Lake George and Champlain ... it's a snapping turtle. I can't believe that this video has gotten so much attention.
Loren Coleman visited the site personally and has downsized the object to a couple feet long at most. That is HIS day job.

OK.. Pause at 23 seconds...IM PRETTY sure i see TWO ears which is typical of a deer.. i see a small snout.. which is typical of a whitetail deer.. whcih are NATIVE to the area..

It's a deer that had half it's head bitten off by CHAMP - the night before - and it's been 'reflex swimming ever since. Reminds me of Mike the Headless Chicken < googles
