Why I don't do Let's plays

An idea I have been toying around with is doing a Let's Play of a game. I've considered a few games of doing it with and I figured Bioshock 2 would be a good idea since I recently acquired it and recording a first time playthrough would be interesting.
I quickly abandoned the idea as most of my runs ended like this.

Aww, I thought I was being original with my "Why I Don't Do Let's Plays" video. Oh well, I guess I'm still being kinda original in that I haven't actually done a Let's Play yet. I'll take that for what it's worth.

@AwesomeAnakin LPs of linear horror games are terrible and uninteresting, especially if they try to keep it "scary" instead of making fun of it or having any interesting commentary in it. If you want scares it's always better to play a scary game instead of watching an LP of it, unsurprisingly.

But no good LP *ever* has had commentary just going "This part is funny" or "I got really scared at this part" because those are also terrible and uninteresting, so nice false dichotomy there

@EMike07 I don't understand why you think first reactions and things like what happened in this video aren't funny. For example, if someone LPs a horror game and edits it, puts in the commentary afterwards etc. Then it's boring save for a few jokes because all the scares aren't there.I don't watch LPs for the gameplay, I watch it for the player's reactions, what they think of the game etc. Not some gameplay with the commentator saying "This part is funny" or "I got really scared at this part".
