  • this is awesome, and is going to help me A LOT with my presentation on John Newton!! May I just ask, where did you get the information about where and when the song was sung??

  • @tgotschall it's been that long since I put it together for a church service I was leading I can't remember to be honest, most of it was culled by a lot of internet searching and information I already knew if I remember rightly.

  • @ dphoenix55 - by all means

  • by what name do i look for this version of the song????

  • @fritzg93 "Amazing Grace" performed by The Scots Dragoon Guards, you should be able to find it on any mail order music retailer (i.e. HMV, Amazon etc.)

  • As a man who is agnostic, I've always appreciated the those of faith. I've always believed in mans ability to come around to what is right, even after being wrong for so long. Even those of us who lack faith, know good advice when we hear it. Love thy neighbor.......

  • Beautiful, beautiful! What an inspiration. God's grace, we need it, amazing!

  • It is amazing to me how so many people could sing that song and miss its message. That God's grace is in Christ alone. Our sins are pardoned in Christ. If we do not have Christ we are under God's wrath (John 3). That was the context of Newton's hymn. God's grace is offered in Christ. Reject Christ and you reject God's grace.

  • I cried to this video.. :)
