Notice how this guy keeps plugging the +/- .10 accuracy? Well sorry for him but that isn't the best there is, it's certainly better than 90 % of the other tuners out there but not better than the ST-200 Turbo Tuner. The ST-200 Turbo Tuner has guaranteed accuracy of +/- .02 That is 5x more accurate than this tuner!

@CircuitBentResistor when you intonate a guitar, you check the open tuning, then to see if the 12th fret is in tune then adjust the saddle until the both the open note and fretted note are in tune. On a regular tuner you can get close but a strobe is ideal because of the accuracy. Granted, the kinds of strobes used in shops cost $1000 or more

@JerkyChid What exactly do you have to do to intonate to a boss? I have this tuner and it never seems to work right for me.

As a guitar tech this is a very poor demo of a strobe tuner. A better way of showing it off would be to have 2 of the same guitar, and intonating one with the Boss and the other with the Strobe tuner. If it's really up to snuff, the guitar set up with the Tru-Strobe would be properly intonated and the one with the Boss would be out.

this didnt prove anything. what a dumbass

I have the Artec which is the best for outdoor gigs as it has super bright massive LEDS. I also have the Boss TU-2 pedal in this video which to me is the industry yard-stick, also works, accurate and great with my banjo. I also have the pitch black which is great but not soo good with my banjo (with fishman pickup). I also have the TC polytune which is great for guitar but again not good for my banjo, and doesnt like the four strings at ince at ALL. Just ordered the P.Waves strobe, let see...

Not sure if I want this I ordered it now Im trying to cancell my order from amazon after seeing this lol Without showing sharps or flats I think Im just gonna get a pitch black :P
-
TC ELECTRONIC POLYTUNE!
-
lol, this just made me want to buy a boss.

made in china.
The Tru-Strobe didn't seem any more accurate than the Boss tuner in this demo. When dude was saying that the Boss read in tune, it was actually still slightly flat. Look for yourself.

@Hoopermazing I love the Planet Waves tuner but you are right, he kept saying that while the Boss was still showing The Red Tiny Light Of Flatness
