it was a codec problem. fresh XP install and the game runs fine :D

I wanted to like this game, and as a fan, I did. As a gamer, though, it was painful in spot. It has awesome elements in it, but the idea was bigger than the actual production of the game. I still have it and am tempted to play it.

scariest part of the game is when scully is just breathing in the control room starring at you haha idk why but its freaky go watch that part

Everyone who loves Full Motion Video genre, I would also recommend "Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within" (tho 1st part with usual graphics also rocks... and will help to understand the story of the 2nd), Tex Murphy series ("Pandora Directive" and "Under a killing moon" are must haves)... also less known "Noir" (for great atmosphere).
