Check out this flight video of the EXI 450 by Paul. This EXI was powered by a Skylipo 6S 30C 1300mAh and had a GY48V Gyro by Detrum. For any question please leave your comments on the comment box below.

  • Why not make a video showing everyone exactly how to set up the gyro in a detailed step by step guide instead of showing us a preadjusted one that flies almost perfectly...It would help the people who are having this issue

  • I dont know about the rest of you, but hes talking quite a bit about that gyro, about how great it is.. Its so great that i counted over 10 blowouts, not to mention the tailblades being much bigger than needed. I am all for the economical way into things, but i dont know, that gyro is not something id ever put into something that i 3d hard.

  • @sootydave1 And yet setup videos can already be found literally all over the internet. The thing is, most of the times, all setup requirements for tail gyros are just about identical. If you fail at one, you'll fail at the next. But setting up a gyro is no magic and if beginners would read their manuals they'd have no problems setting up their gyros. I'm a self-taught heli pilot and just about everything I needed to know was found on the internet.

  • @onehandpass79 Not trying to start an argument, but I'd say it comes down to proper collective management when it comes to getting the best out of a less-than-perfect gyro that happens to be this cheap. It's even somewhat ironic that you post this comment below a video proving its perfectly able to do 3D. :??

  • @sootydave1 - if you can't self teach, then you really can't afford to cheap out components -- because it will always leave you wondering if you fudged it, or the component did. I ran a crap Rx once on a Trex450 and had SO many crashes. Now I fly a Walkera V120D02 and haven't crashed in months, loops, rolls, etc -- and i'm a novis at flying; but pretty well skilled at build & maintain. The Gyro is like pie on V120D02.

  • I have the Thunder AC680 battery charger...what type of balance connector does it have?...I would like to purchase LiPo batteries with compatible balance connectors...How do I know if the balance connectors are the align style, or the Thunder Power style, or the PolyQuest/PolyRC, or others? Could you tell me what type of balance connectors come with specific brand LiPo batteries? Please let me know. Your info. would be greatly appreciated.

  • obviously you can not get any replies or answer from this dude... they post and leave..

  • what esc and tail servo are being used?

  • Look at the voltage it allows-- wow

  • which is the tail servo on this video ??

  • @smartass23t

Have to agree with you on this 1. For the biggener these videos are of no use what so ever, Seem's like they assume we are all top notch flyers with 20 years of heli flying. Wrong. newbees watch these vid's to try and gain some insight into the hobby, most have no 1 to show them the ropes and so spend money crash after crash untill they decide it's just not worth it.

  • oookkkk its realy or fake?
