i know for me the stupid plots (and characters I didn't like) were a big part why I didn't watch the show as much. The cloned Reva just to name one. I wish they would have kept the characters they had in late70 and early 80s. Maybe the show would still be here today (with better writing and not the crazy camera/taping). Though out the years GL had some wonderful actors come and go. But for me the best years were the early 80s.

Kim Zimmer was very sexy from the 95-98 period, don't you think?
-
Leah probable was not born when that aired. You know how fast soap kids grow.
-
Here's another Fun Fact. When GL went on the air on June 30, 1952, it was Eight Years Earlier to the date that The Ed Sullivan Show Debuted on Radio when it was known as "Toast Of The Town". In 1952, in Philadelphia a Dance Show called "Bob Horn's Bandstand" debuted and Five Years Late in became American Bandstand.

I think the Music was Kissing You by Desiree the British Singer which was featured on the Romeo & Juliet Soundtrack.

I know what you mean. I started watching in 1995, and I had no idea that it was the first Soap Opera to feature African American Actors. Yet, isn't Leah Bauer, the Fifth Generation and not Rick.
