I read the article from class, I thought it was interesting and overwhelming, but I understood how two different groups of people could not understand each other. I don't think it is their fault, but it is good to learn the perspectives of others culture. I could not tell that this as written many years ago, I think it is still relevant now. Before, I did not know so much about the deaf culture, but now I am interested in reading (and learning) all about it.
