S2000 Turbo vs Modded Corvette Z06 (C6)

i drive an SI and been a honda fan all my life almost but corvette are the shit. but you cant say that s2000 wasnt dope. wish i could afford a corvette

To what I know he only blow one trans and went with a PPG trans after that. But before he was 701whp he had something in the mid 500whp on a different setup so the car has been boosted before.

There are lot S2000 making 300whp+ on pump gas at 1 bar or less. Youtube it there is a stock block S2000 from head to oil pan yes 11:5:1 comperssion making 701whp. S2000 have forged piston/rods very well built bottom end and head.

If you're talking about the same s2k i'm thinking of (the 701 rwhp one) then you should also know that he's ruined a whole bunch of transmissions. You can't just make insane horsepower like that and not get a transmission that can handle it.

the s2000 is a good track car. It was never meant for drag race. Anyone or says otherwise is clearly dellusional. Sure you can mod them for drag......but you would see much better gains out of a muscle car or a very light older car with an engine swap for drag races.

s2000s can get 700rwhp on stock internals, and K20s can manage 450whp stock as well
