Father Benedict Groeschel is the beloved leader of the Friars of the Renewal and was the liaison between the Archdiocese of New York City and Mother Teresa. I spent a day with him in 2004, shortly after his car accident. I interviewed Father Groeschel about his 33 years with Mother Teresa. However, the hours of tape are an amazing conversation with a priest who has a lot to say about many subjects. Father appears regularly on EWTN. I hope he doesn't mind that I share portions of our conversation. This is Part One. Please take the opportunity to visit: www.motherteresaofcalcutta.com or email me at Lindaschaefer@me.com

Father Groeschel is an inspiration to people of all faiths. He is also a character. I continue working on documenting those who were a witness to Mother Teresa. Groeschel is a very humble priest

  • he is clearly a wise and virtuous man even though im atheist it makes me feel calm listening to some good wisdom. a great role model as well

  • @SOADso1dier

Beautiful. Wisdom is the opposite of ignorance and that is the beginning of understanding that leads to compassion and love

  • This is a great documentary. It's really cool that you got to interview him! He is awesome.

  • The Democratic Party wasn't concerned with the poor, they were concerned with using the poor as a pretext for growing statism.

  • I've been a fan of this great guy for years and years, from the earliest episodes he did for EWTN. Many years ago I even saw three or four friers attending the morning mass at my church (I say "my" church, St. Joseph's, because it is the place where I was baptized!) And somehow I just knew they knew Father Groeschel. A good day it was!

  • @789moksha I can't believe you're actually getting my message, but thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a believer like me and for posting these. Bless you, have an amazing new decade <3

  • GOD SUCKS!!!!

  • @maloy117

You are very welcome. I have about 3 1/2 hours of video from that day.

He is wonderful. I truly enjoyed spending a day with him in New York. One doesn't have to be Catholic to feel devoted to those who work in the church. Thanks for your comment. Linda
