  • @vjfrost Yea def look into them, they are great cars with plenty of performance and luxury mixed in, as i had said, this feels like a step up from the EvoVII that i had

  • It's an excellent car. Only problem is that the wheel is on the wrong side.

  • @nebularocks The only plastic components are on the door jam, head unit, and e brake trim. The rest is soft textured vinyl. It's unconvential to omit plastic completely like you say, its here to stay. Just cheapens things so much and then you go and see exotics and muscle era cars and the quality is impeccable. A speed 6 on aussie roads would be the ultimate driving experience. I had a series 1 but ended up selling after winter. Great car none the less. Im going for the GT0/ vauxhall monaro next

  • @naireland Oh wow I didn't know the RSX had hardly any plastic on the inside! I think though plastic is here to stay as it's cheap to buy and make as opposed to other alternatives. Where I'm from (Australia) the roads vary all the time, the speed 6 absolutely loves the sweeping bends and the motorways but in the city it is not the most comfortable car to drive by a mile :P I cannot imagine how harsh the speed 3 would have been, did you have the series 1 or 2?

  • @nebularocks I havent like the direction that Japanese autos have taken either. That's why I chose the rsx (virtually no plastic trim in or out) will be my last until they cut down on the plastic. Even the new camaro and 370z pours on the plastic. I loved alot of things about the speed 3 and I'm no stranger to stiff suspension and bushings but for the amount of potholes around here the car was pretty jolty even when cruising. Also no lumbar adjustment which would have made a difference.

  • @naireland Yea I too agree that before knowing anything about what an MPS was it was just another Mazda6 with a tiny little bit more of an aggressive stance. I'm not much a fan of Japanese hatchs and I'm very surprised to hear you thought that speed 3 was quite an uncomfortable car, why was that so if you don't mind me asking? I know for a fact the next car in my lineup won't be Japanese, as I think they all have a "cheap, plastic-y" feel to them all, but thats another story :P

  • @nebularocks For the longest time I thought this was just a mazda 6 with an aftermarket back bumper. I love how rare this car is though. Ive got alot of respect for stock sleepers and this car is no exception just wished they would have discerned it a bit more from the rest of their lineup. I ended up getting the speed 3 in the end. It was ok but I got tired of that hot hatch crap real quick and it was not a comfortable car to drive in. Ended up getting an RSX-S that wasn't riced out.
