Imagine a British crew were to film beggars using infants to squeeze a penny from strangers in uptown Bucharest or Sofia. I guess the UK media would be all over Romania or Bulgaria, calling them uncivilized third world countries. Here's how we found some beggars at Marble Arch and Edgware Road, pretending to be war refugees, carrying infants and exposing them to the whims of the British weather. They are Eastern Europeans, but who cares? It seems to be OK to exploit children on the streets of London, nobody seems to care - least of all the law enforcement agencies.
