Few baits have impacted the fishing world like the Berkley® PowerBait® Chigger Craw. This bait was key to Boyd Duckett's Bassmaster Classic Championship and has been catching fish for anglers across the nation, both in high stakes competition and weekend rivalries. Berkley scientists put the work into making a larger 5-inch version for times when the 4-inch size just isn't big enough.

The PowerBait Jumbo Chigger Craw is 5-inches of fish catching excitement. With oversized pinchers and an extended, fat body, the Jumbo Craw portrays a large profile ideal when targeting big fish around timber. And like all Chigger Craws, the Jumbo Chigger Craw is created with the irresistible PowerBait scent and flavor.

  • @1995Blackrosedying I honestly dont know what you're getting at, because I toss soft plastics with 6 lb mono all the time, and I have no trouble whatsoever. I could understand using fluoro with a hudd, though, that's a pretty big swimbait.

  • @mmmmmarcus lol why would someone use mono, especially only 6 lb mono for soft plastics? Mono is not abrasion resistant at all (especially in 6 lb line), it has reduced sensitivity, and you have to replace it a lot. I'm not a braid guy, but even braided line would be better than mono. Plus with mono, you can't get as strong of a hook set. Mono is great for some stuff, but not for using soft plastics. There's a reason why most people use heavy, abrasion resistant line for C-Rigs/T-Rigs/Jigs

  • @1995Blackrosedying I have a pflueger baitcaster and it casts 6-lb stren mono just fine. 20 lb is for pussies. >=)

  • @mmmmmarcus that's what most pros do, they are using either 50-65 lb braid or they're using 20 lb fluorocarbon.

  • @mmmmmarcus well most baitcasters can't cast 6 pound line. Not only that, 20 lb fluorocarbon is heavier than 6 lb line, so it's a lot more abrasion resistant. the 20 lb is more for abrasion resistance than anything. 20 lb fluorocarbon is very thin in diameter. You'd be surprised. Thinner than 20 lb mono.

  • @1995Blackrosedying No, I'm thinking of fluoro. 20 lb? pfft. All you need is 6-lb mono.

Didn't you see the "20 lb" typed in my comment? 20 lb is overkill.

  • @mmmmmarcus fluorocarbon? dude, fluorocarbon is difficult to see in the water. I think you're thinking of braided line

  • 20 lb flouro is fine for stupid backwater private lake bass that see very few lures. Lol, I'd like to see this guy use 20 lb flouro and successfully catch a bass in a pressured public lake. rofl

  • that fish looks farely reel ......

  • good video, but when he was fighting that largemouth he over exaggerated it a bit to much lol
