@SkallagrimNilsson Yea I think the Catholic Church is especially bad at "enforcing" it's views and ways.I would allow people of other faiths and no faiths to exercise that and I might even learn a thing or two.

Absolutely, free choice of religion / no religion is the way to go. Personally I view churches as representating the Church as religious institution, and since I have a problem with dogma, I'm not comfortable with them. But that's just me, no offense intended in any way.

I certainly wouldn't envy any leaders / rulers in such a scenario. Responsibility to shoot infected victims in the head while their loved ones are desperately begging for their lives to be spared...

@SkallagrimNilsson It's alright,I accept anyone for any faith(or no faith).I would not let it turn into a theocracy,because it would most likely be a form of Militia Rule with everyone being a part of that Militia.There would be a head council of civilians elected each year to represent their wishes and oversee them.

Remember,aim for the head!

A church, eh? Hmph... as long as it doesn't evolve into a theocracy (i.e. religious tyranny)...

Sorry for my skepticism, I just can't entirely suppress my allergic reaction to the word "church".

In the even of a Zombie Apocalypse I would take a few rifles,a shotgun,lots of ammunition,lots of blades,lots of non-perishable food,water and other survival supplies,round up my family,ignore the NZ Army Mobilization Broadvcasts and go AWOL with my best friends and family up in the countryside and build a fort,then start up a farming,hunting and gathering colony with a small milita forces and a church.
