I have respect for all scientific minds, but I feel that due to the nature of man, to explore and to discover, the names associated with the world's greatest inventions are just names; if not Thomas Edison, or Nikola Tesla, it would of been just someone else. I don't say this to devalue the personal achievements of these men, it's just food for thought.

Also I noticed you miss-spelled Nikola in one of your tags, could you fix that?

That's the way it is people who invented stuff don't always get the benefits. A few computer tycoons two famous ones one still alive is the richest man on earth and another is famous for a computer that is named after a fruit. Both these persons copyrighted other people's ideas and inventions and gets all the benefits. The man who invented the internet did not patent it and the discoverer of the vaccine for polio gave it to mankind for free are two magnanimous people. God bless them.

Tesla was proud both of his nationality and country of birth but more then anything he was a humanitarian. He was driven mostly by watching the people living in poverty around the world. His greatest desires were the free energy sources for all humans on planet Earth that cause no pollution to the environment.

But ofcos, rich people did not support many of Tesla's ideas and Thomas was just one of them.
