i noticed my pot blueberry looks sick first i though luck of water but when i take a closer look i saw lots of aphids sucking !
i could not get ladybugs from local gardening shop here in NewZealand so i bought this garlic(& other plants ,minerals)based insect repellant spray today.
aphids were found other plants too.
hopefully my plants get well soon !

Oh I just love ladybugs! In all my life, I have thankfully never been bitten by one (of course I only had one on me at a time, but still). I guess they don't get agitated just because you picked one up and put it on your hand to crawl around. I have a ladybug habitat I just got for Christmas (actually a butterfly/ladybug combo set with coupon) and I absolutely can't wait for my babies to arrive! I already have friends who are interested in having them for their plants....

Do never touch those ladybirds again it can be very dangerous. Remember they now have taste for bugs, so there is no question they will go for bigger pray-:)

Yeah, ever been bitten by a ladybug? It will definitely get your attention. I rode my bike thru a swarm of them wearing shorts. NOT GOOD! LOL

Did she just say the green lacewing??? The larvae does eat aphids but the adult feeds on nectar/pollen.
