What settings did you have on your HV40 to get it to look like that? I dont know much about photography or videography, as you can tell from my HV40 test footage, would be nice to know what settings you chose and why :-)
I had the colour correction set to "cloudy" (brings out more colour when you're outdoors). I was using AV (aperture value) mode, and I had the aperture set 1.8, which is as low as it goes. This gives everything a very shallow depth of field (that means only a smalll amount is in focus).
