Us farmers know how wide our stuff is you don't have to worry about us hitting to much.

I think the the things you refered to as binders were small test plots. Universities use them to determine how new varities yeild and grow.

I grew up the Columbia Basin in Eastern Washington as my dad was a farmer. I went to WSU; thus my interest in the Palouse country. I now live in Maine and keep touch through YouTube.
I did just the opposite move, I was born and raised in central Michigan, attended U of M and Western Michigan, spent 20 years in the US Army and Air Force and settled in Spokane. Besides being close enough to my relatives, it's a gorgeous part of the country. I ride my harley religously and nearly always take a couple cameras. Heading out Hwy 2 through Stevens Pass to the west side next weekend. Going to Anacortes for the Oyster Run. Will come back via Cascade Hwy.
