Michelle Bazinet - I have submitted a video exploring how a commuter rail in southeast Massachusetts could prove to be environmentally efficient, as well as provide more convenience for those citizens living outside Boston. I interviewed Jonathan Archbald, an architecture student here at Roger Williams University who produced a sketch and video model of what an area in New Bedford, MA could look like if the commuter rail in Boston was connected to that spot. Also, I interviewed Kristina Egan, the South Coast Rail Manager, who provided great insight on how commuter rail would be sustainable and practical. Incorporated into this piece is footage of the site for possible construction of rail in New Bedford, some photography, great music, and what I believe to be informative and interesting interviews.
