This song was The Poni-Tails first recording on the Point Record lable, and was the A-side. The B-side was "Que La Bozena",and was written by them.Joy Layne covered this song and it did better. I posted it so that you may listen to both.Karen Chandler also recorded a very nice cover of this song.To hear an interview of The Poni-Tails, go to "Jersey Girls Sing" webpage and scroll down to "Ronnie's Radio Page", click it, and scroll down till you see it. Please enjoy this song, and the picture's.The ladies in the picture are clockwise from the top -- Karin Topinka, Toni Cistone & Patti McCabe.

  • @mezskr4 Actually, they are from Lyndhurst Ohio.

  • I forgot all about this great chick group! Listen to their harmonies. Just beautiful tight vocals!

  • I just found an old newspaper article from Feb 14, 1957... Apparently they were picked up by NBC-TV on a show called America After Dark. While performing live at the KYW Twin Hearts Ball, there is also mention of "Tonight" picking it up as well. If it's still out there I would like to see it myself.

  • Oh and Mom wrote "Que La Bozena" it was supposed to be an Italian Lula bye (Karin)

  • Wow this is so weird.. Didn't know Mom had fans! I don't think there is any video of them. None that I've ever seen. I do have tons of photos though.
