thats st.barths...not Guadeloupe... and the pilot thought he could still stop all though he missed the landing mark, if yu dont land behind the two thick white lines then yu have a chance of crashing. Although landing before that line doesnt garauntee safety (yu could be going to fast) .

thats because 99% of the mechanical issues and w/e that wouldve crashed were successfully dealt with by the pilots ;)
