B-17 ride

I belong to the Arizona Wing of the Commemorative Air Force and I had the opportunity to ride on our WWII B-17 bomber, Sentimental Journey, a few years ago. This is only a small portion of my video, the part where I got to go up and sit where the nose-gunner sat. It was an awesome experience. Come visit the Arizona Wing museum!

I plan on taking my dad this year on the "Thunderbird" based out of Galveston. It's a "G" model - I pretty damn excited - especially since my dad has never flown.

I got to ride in the Journey once, but I wasn't cool enough to ride in the nose compartment. I was back in the waist section. Still, it was the thrill of a lifetime.
