High School Girls Basketball - Central vs. Centennial

The games haven't changed, but the look has. The 2007-2008 Minnesota high school girls basketball broadcast season kicked off with an exciting game between two state title contenders, defending class AAAA state champion St. Paul Central and this year's preseason favorite, Centennial.

After spending an entire year making history, it would be Centennial's turn to write the history books.

Minnesota Golden Gopher Kiara Buford and Marquette Golden Eagle Georgie Jones returned from the previous year's star-studded Central team. George Washington University's Kiara Allums next season, did the same for Centennial.

This game was part of the Pat Paterson Thanksgiving tournament at Hamline University.
