I think the lower ranked wrestlers are mentally beat because he is trying so hard that when he loses he can say I tried hard... He should have been more composed... If you look at all the higher ranked wrestlers they are more calm and are more mental over aggressive (i.e. they position and look for opportunity...)

I really need to take Jap. again..only took a semester of it and didn't learn all the kanji.

I can definitely see Baruto becoming Yokozuna..

I agree with sumobear, when Jason isn't around I have to scrounge to find any other that's available, but not successful often.

I watch whatever you upload. You're my only source. I really appreciate your effort

The robe they put on the wrestlers after their matches is called a yukata. It's much cheaper and thinner than a kimono. The patterns vary and are symbolic. You can pick them up at most clothing stores there. In summer you usually get a better selection.

@timw8 thanks. I knew it looked like a yukata, but I wasn't sure if it had a special sumo name when a wrestler wears one.

Isn't it more, like, the orange names are the winners of the day?
"3-6" does not sound like kachikôshi to me.

@42317 The color behind the name looks yellow to me (that indicates they won the bout) - I'm referring to the number below or above the kanji name that is highlighted in dark orange when they get their kachi koshi
