Man great talent, and thx for the help!!
/Btw i like all your other piss in the breeze song.. Did you write it? And did you take guitar lessons at some point in your life?

@14beadle Yes other than the instructional videos (and one Neil Young cover) I have written all the songs on my page. I never took lessons formally but played quite a bit and ended up playing professionally for quite a few years. My view is that as long as you are willing to put the time in, there is enough info on the net to get most where they want to go without lessons. For me, setting goals like learning new tunes for upcoming performances or even just playing parties was good motivation.

what do you mean in octave of eachother? Do i have to turn my low e string so that it matches the sound the d string makes?
14beadle 1 year ago
@14beadle Yes it should be lowered until it sounds like the D string, the octave means it will be the same note (D) but lower by 12 notes. If you were to try to tune the low E string up to find the same D you better wear glasses because that sucker is gonna break! Hope that helps

@mosybohica ok thanks a bunch. ive seen other videos that are played different than yours, but on the other vids the guy had a a palm mute? i cant tell but are you muting the intro?

@14beadle Yes there is a slight palm mute but I use it mostly to quite things a bit when the vocals kick in.
