As a long hibernating kid-poor racer who started at Hallett - this is excellent and pretty painful to watch. Makes me want to go back pretty bad... thanks for posting! As good as I remember!

Glad you enjoyed! Hallett is just a kick in the pants to drive, certainly one of my favorites.

I can't tell from the video how peaky your power curves are...but when you down shift before the apex of turn 4, it seems it may be unnecessary. After apexing 5, you are going down hill and staying in the higher gear might allow you to carry more speed.
Just a thought?

I was running a "junkyard" short block that weekend that was significantly down on power. During the morning practice, I tried carrying 4th gear all the way through the turn 4 & 5 complex, just didn't work out... it bogged really bad through the transition.
