In May of 2007, the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus premiered "U.S.S. Metaphor," their adaptation of Gilbert & Sullivan's "H.M.S. Pinafore" and a skewering take on the U.S. military's discriminatory "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. Encore presentations took place in February and July of 2008.
In this scene, as Honorable Secretary of the Navy and presidential candidate Josephine Porter continues her inspection of the USS Metaphor, she looks for one of the Navy's top men to interview. Ensign Ralph Rackstraw chooses to sing his answer, with the help of the Metaphor crew. To order this DVD, please visit https://www.sfgmc.org/merchandise_dvds.shtml

LMAO, I need to make a trip to SF the next time this is on their program - unless they're going to be in southern Cal where I can catch them.
