BTW At thetime that this video was doen Is was in Missouri and was spending days humming that tune...before I remembered the title! Very catchy tune, written around 1938.:)

My all time favorite, and it was only after uploading some music files before I finally remembered the title and composer..."Galloping Comedians" by Dimitry Boris Kabelevsky is my all time favorite classical piece..

I would have loved to have met and gotten to know Mike Kitner. At least I was able to meet Ken Smith before he passed away.

that is so cool!

Many people feel that Mike Kitner was one of the best, if the best organ restorer. I remember when I was about 13 or 14 and he restored Paul Torins Wurlitzer 164. The machine was better than new. Your organ plays perfectly. Keep the video's coming.
The Poet and Peasent overture was just put on Youtube. Enjoy! I purchased the book from Verbeek last year. At the end of the recording you will hear a rare cipher. I have been away for 2 weeks so the organ had not been played. The air conditioning was not set low enough in the music room. It gets a bit warm and humid in Florida.

Mike Kitner did such wonderful work. You are very lucky to have such a fine machine.

Thank you for the kudos. I bought this machine for many reasons. At the top of the list was that it was Mike's organ. I wish I could have met him before his death. There were no pictures of the original finial. I found and used the carved Devil head. I think it is awesom but not original.
The figures are cast and not carved. I do feel very lucky it is now in my collection and can share it with the Youtube folks. Keep looking as I will be adding more music in the near future.----Marv
