I think season 3 has really gone off on very unconvincing evidence, but the first and second seasons did actually grab my attention, when they talk about things like the pyramids, but implying that steel was given to us by aliens? It's just kind of rediculous, they assume that all myths from history are factual.

Good show. They try to add interpretations to myths and reality with some being more original than others. Fair play and a money maker, I guess all one has to do is to look at the bible. But wait, no remnants of the bible. Actually, humans were invented on a bet by drunken and druggy aliens - I bet you 1,000 space credits cant do that monkey. And, the rest is history. Oh, gods being mad because of giving fire to man is an oriental alien who says: man should live by sushi alone
-
I'd say that our ancient ancestors had really good 'drugs,' and a lot of time to think up shit...
-
Immediately when soon as something can't be explained, it must be extraterrestial. What the fuck, my brethren, us humans can think...
-
Man, yall is trippin'. Yall need to get off the drugs...

I'm all for open-mindedness and questioning the status quo, but the people on this show really jump to some very particular conclusions on questions that have a very broad range of possibilities. The basis of almost everything argued on this program relies on a gross underestimation of the power of human creativity. What's on this show isn't history, science or even pseudoscience, just a bunch of flat out blind assumptions drawn together to feed into people's unfounded fantasies. garbage.

the 15th century master swordsmith Muramasa was said to commune with entities while working in the forge - he eventually went mad and was said to be demon possesed , his blades have a reputation for giving thier owners an insatiable blood lust - so much so that the shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu banned Muramasa swords from his court - his father died at point of one, as did his uncle - Ielasu himself nearly died after cutting himself on a muramasa blade whilst inspecting it.

Mankind could have learn about fire just by accident. If there is thunder and hits a tree or something dry, it can create fire. I personally think curiosity was the biggest gift we received if any. I mean even animals fight in their habitat. If we were some sort of animal our curiosity led us to come up with ways to make battles easier.

A sword that shone like 10 000 suns? Sounds like king Arthur had a lightsaber.
