I certainly know I'm not the only one who sees an ignorant vagrant with unimpressive vocabulary trying too hard to create an image of this band to hate. Maybe if you took your head out of your ass, you'd see that they do have a certain sense of self-awareness and irony in their songs and music videos. Also, come one, a jewish kid, a persian...that's a pretty broad definition of "white." And i see that you're white, too....

Am I the only one that just sees privileged white ivy league kids on a yacht talking about looking at a roof through the trees? Maybe I've spent too many summers on CC to be impressed by this Tom Cruise in "Risky Business" mixed with preppy sailor with no socks aesthetic. Or maybe I'm rationalizing thalassophobia, or something.
