Hey dan when i get my level 2&3 certification done i'll upload a vid of a launch i did using a motor i built with
100mm diameter x1.5mm wall thickness seemless metal tube and propellant mix Tar,kno3,iron oxide..
turned out to be a real high flyer..

Ahhh real shame there Dan..still your just about there on the two flight attempt and recovery..is your next build going to be exactly the same as coyote or are you trying a different rocket design...james

Oh the Coyote Rocket is 95% there! I'm not going to give up on it just yet ;-) I am making a few changes for next launch, a different body material, a new connector for the piston, a more reliable parachute folding and rigging technique and different video camera placement. The next thing I need to work on is the spin issue. There's lots of work but that's the fun of experimental rocketry. The rockets are cheap so making a new one is easy and not too hard on the wallet.
