In 5000 years we have created 6 (Median, Achaemenid with Persians, Sassanid with Persians, Parthian, Eyubid, Gutim, empires, that were world-powers. We had many kingdoms, like Adiabende, Hurrian and Corduene Several independent MODERN countries, like Ararat Republic, Kingdom of Kurdistan, Mehabad Republic.
And modern-day, a never-ending struggle where we have never surrendered for almost 100 years.
