There are lots of watercolor tips that will help you improve but in my opinion using the correct brushes and getting the right strength of paint will have a bigger impact on your watercolour paintings than almost anything else

  • Thank you Bob! Your lessons are so easy to follow and have valuable instruction.. You are an fine artist and a great and much appreciated teacher

  • I stopped using natural animal hairbrushes, as an artiste i felt guilty because to acquire animal hair, they are abused and even killed.

I find synthetic brushes as useful and actually better in many cases. Try Da Vinci synthetic rounds and mops, Grumbacher, cotman, and Robert Simmons. Excellent synthetic quality, perfect for professionals as well as academics and on top of that a lot cheaper and affordable. Happy painting artists, and please be environmentally conscious.

  • Bought your DVD video course...best money i've ever spent....your videos are superior to any i've seen.....thanks
