Tonight on SURF PATROL, swimmers are ordered from the water in Queensland's Surfers Paradise as the patrol team launches a desperate search for a missing nine-year-old girl.

Meanwhile, on Sydney's northern beaches, there is a medical emergency as a teenage girl is dragged unconscious from the surf. As lifesavers battle to get her breathing, they're baffled by the cause of her collapse.

And at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast, lifesavers swing into action to save an Irish tourist close to drowning in a deadly rip.

An observational documentary series, SURF PATROL takes viewers to the frontline of the daring and dangerous work carried out by Australia's volunteer lifesavers.

SURF PATROL is hosted by The Great Outdoors presenter and former surf lifesaver TOM WILLIAMS.
