Meeting With Ambassador Ron Kirk, U S Trade Representative

In a series of meetings and courtesy calls that made up the third day of her visit to Washington D.C., President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo met with United States Trade Representative Ambassador Ron Kirk at the Willard Hotel.

Ambassador Kirk is a cabinet member of United States President Barack Obamas administration and serves as his principal trade advisor, negotiator and spokesperson on trade issues. He is also responsible for US trade policy in the areas of agriculture, industry, services and investment, intellectual property, environment, labor, development and preference programs.
