when you say 4 sets of 12, 10, 8 and 6 do i have to repeat each of them 4 times like 12 repetitions for 4 sets and 10 repetitions for 4 sets?

@soldier727dl It depends what you want m8. If you want mostly strength then you go heavy weight 3-4 reps, growth plus a bit strength 8-10 reps, anything above is going lean and endurance

@MrAviiiii I'm 17, but trainers at my gym are like saying that I need to go to a physical therapist and let him look at my shoulder.. And I already get the pain when I just put my arm up like that without weights
