The Snowstorm of November 30 - December 1 2008 that hit Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Video shows the snowfall from the Crystal Lake and Lake in the Hills area during the course of the overnight. According to NWS Northern Illinois saw 3-6" at max and parts of Southern Wisconsin saw upwards of 6-10" of snow.

@TheOn3LeftBehind no they called that i off...i remember because 1) im a student there and 2) IT WAS THE FIRST SNOW DAY OF THE YEAR AND IT WAS ON A FRIDAY!

Wow, been 9 years since I seen snow like that outside Youtube! I think my 70F temps predicted for 12/3 can get quite addicctive!
