My 3 dogs, 6 cats, and 6 birds are all rescues as all of my pets have been. I worked in that "quiet room" for a long time and I cried too often. But I always thought that these precious little ones should at least be able to leave this world in the arms of someone who loved them. I often wonder what this world would be like if humans could love, understand, and be as loyal and forgiving as the animals are.

This is so touching to me cause it reminds me of my dog... His name was sammy.... he was my world but he got sick one day and my parents took him to the animal doctor... while i waited at home for him to come back... When my parents walked through the door i asked "wheres sammy?" they looked me painfully in the eyes and said " he couldnt make it" :'( he was my world (they had to put him to sleep) I cry for him till this day still... R.I.P Sammy

I feel so touched !!!!!! I'm crying a lot right now and it's just so sad because I'm an animal lover and it's painful to know that they have to go through this and they really do think this way and it's so sad ! For all animal lovers out there , stay strong! Love who you are and keep the friendship and companions you have and never forget them. If they pass you will someday meet them at the rainbow bridge and will walk away together as a family.

I was very touched by this story and it is so true and cruel of people...makes me so mad...i know the room you are talking about. At the Visalia SPCA its known as the blue room...so sad brought tears to my eyes. I hope people can learn from this and not make the same decision.
