In 2006 The family of late KISS drummer Eric Carr was offering copies of Eric's audition tape that he made to land the job of new KISS drummer back in 1980.
This rare CD was copied DIRECTLY FROM THE THE MASTER RECORDINGS.
A neon-orange folder played a crucial role in the meteoric career of Eric Carr, born Paul Caravello. It was the folder he used to send off demo tapes and a couple of pictures of himself to KISS's manager, in his successful bid to become the masked supergroup's new drummer. Just as he'd planned, the flashy color of the folder caught the eye of someone in the KISS office. So Eric's application got opened first - and the rest is history.
The Original ERIC CARR audition tape had been misplaced for over 24 years.
In 2006 it has finally surfaced. Eric Carr is singing on "Shandi" and playing drums on all 4 tracks - the tracks he submitted to KISS in 1980. Eric was hoping, this would help get him a chance to audition in person for the GENE SIMMONS, PAUL STANLEY and ACE FREHLEY, who were looking to replace former drummer PETER CRISS.

Where can I get a physical copy of these demos? Compressed files just aren't the same.
