Stalking Laura 5/9

Based on a true story, I Can Make You Love Me: The Stalking of Laura Black largely takes place in California's Silicon Valley, where Virginia transplant Laura Black (Brooke Shields) is employed by a major high-tech firm as a computer specialist. Upset by the unsolicited advances of nerdish coworker Richard Farley (Richard Thomas), Laura files a complaint with her bosses, but finds it is difficult to get anyone to believe her: The delusional Farley has already spread the word about his "relationship" with Laura, and has even written to her parents about their "romance." Eventually Farley's ruse is exposed, and he is fired from his job--and Laura manages to get a restraining order against him to avoid dealing with him outside the workplace. It is at this point that harassment degenerates into all-out violence, with Farley triggering an all-out climactic bloodbath.

I don't know much about company policies but is it really the companies problem if an ex employee is stalking a current employee? I don't mean to sound cruel but isn't that technically Laura's problem and isn't it her responsibility to take out a restraining order against him. I'm not really sure what she expected the company to do for her in regards to Farley stalking her outside of work.

I loved Richard and Brooke in this movie as people know it was a true story and not forgetting the people were hurt and 7 were killed for no reason I found out about the real Richard Farley he was sent to death for the ESI killings and he is still alive today a court have not actioned the death of Richard Farley he still sent letters to the real Laura black after he was sent to prison you can find more by googling stalking Laura
