  • Very cool. I do have one comment about the spray paint. Spray paint is highly flammable I would be careful with using spray paint if you get some on the very end, it might ignite.

  • @zj79000 there is no paint on the end of the plunger, just the knob.

  • do you have to use char cloth or can you use another type of tinder

  • @PAsurvival Chuga, anything that will catch a spark and hold it. charcloth is by far the best.

  • Buckshot I like your southern accent dude!!!

  • @lunaticasai thanks been trying for years to get rid of it. Couldn't find anyone who wanted it, so I just kept it.

  • I tell you what. That's about the niftiest thing I ever did see. Always did want myself one and now I can make it. Thank you ever so much!

  • Thank you for posting this video!! It inspired me to make my own. I wasn't very lucky making one this size. So I down sized the whole thing. I used an aluminum rod that fit in my drill so I could cut the notch evenly and it worked great. Total cost was around $5.

Again thanks for posting this. Check out my video of the small piston.

  • @zj79000 Dried paint isn't a concern. Everything will burn....but its the vapors from the aerosol (or base that the pigment is dissolved into). once its dry, its not an issue. Try lighting dried gasoline on fire, nothings gonna happen.

  • That is awesome! I tried today with metal and wasn't too goo at my shop skills.. I'm going to try this- great video!

  • Thanks man, appreciate the share. That's a great tool and the know-how is priceless. :)

  • @buckshot752 Good that's what you want, FIRE

  • Awesome video!

  • @zj79000 spray paint is not really flamable. the PAINT FUMES are flamable. once it is dry and cured its not a safety concern

  • Thanks for the video. I love the idea of using copper tubing.

  • Great vid... Thank you sir.
